She's a Rainbow

An original botanical cyanotype print of a mesquite tree leaf that was creating through a wet technique where I applied colorful India Inks to the print before sealing under glass and exposing to sunlight. After drying, the delicate leaf structure is embellished with gold pen adding luminous detail and contrast. 

Printed on textured watercolor paper, this 6x6 original print is sealed with gloss varnish then mounted on a 1.5" gallery depth birch wood panel. Perfect for shelf or wall display, especially when combined with other small works.
